DESCRIPTION:The Parma Precision Rifle matches are part of the Precision Rifle Series (PRS) Regional\, Rimfire\, and Pro Series of matches. Parma Precision Rifle matches are typically held on the 3rd Saturday of every month at Parma Rod and Gun Club. PGRC is Southern Idaho’s Unrivaled Premier shooting facility with over 150 acres of privately owned land featuring both square range and natural terrain firing positions stretching over 900 yards from end to end on our or long-range rifle firing line. PRGC offers a great venue for new and experienced shooters alike. Shooters of all skill levels are welcome to attend\, especially those new to the sport with no prior experience and a willingness to learn. We strive to design stages that challenge shooters with a balance of target size\, distance\, and firing position/order yet provide competitors with a fair chance to hit every target. We believe that a stage should be skill based and avoid any “gimmicky” or luck-based elements. We rarely incorporate any kind of gear restrictions into our COF\, we prefer to design our stages so that they can be approached with several different types of equipment and be successful without lending advantage to one style throughout the COF as a whole. \nAll Centerfire matches will be between 8 and 10 stages with a round count between 65 and 100\, typically about 85 rounds will be needed to complete the course of fire. Target distances range from 100 to 1\,000 yards with a majority between 300 to 700 yards \nListed start time is the time of the Mandatory Shooters safety brief\, immediately after which the match will commence. DESCRIPTION:Designated Marksman Rifle (DMR) Mid-Range Gas Gun Match on March 28 in Parma. This match will be the same day as the 2 gun night match\, but in the morning. This is a match designed to push the distance of your gas guns. Ranges and target sizes are selected for someone using a rifle capable of ~ 1.5 MOA with a 1-8x optic to still complete the course of f ire. Targets will be about 600 yards max with most being between 200 and 400 yards. This match is designed to challenge a shooter with moderate experience in a competitive environment. New shooters are welcome but understand this may be a difficult first match. Compared to the last 2 Parma DMR matches\, this will be slightly less complex with target sizes remaining roughly the same. There is little to no reset which allows us to finish early in the day. Round Count: 80 to 120 rounds. 20 rounds max per stage. Scoring: Time Plus Penalties. Targets are hit to move on unless specified. 15 second penalty for every remaining target. 120 second par time. Divisions: Light: 5.56 with 16” max barrel length and 8x max magnification. No Bipod. Heavy: Any caliber with 18” max barrel length and 10x max magnification. Bipod Allowed. Open: Any caliber\, any magnification\, any barrel length\, bipod allowed. Gear: One practical sized shooting bag/sandbag and/or backpack allowed as support from any position. Bipod depending on division. No steel core ammo. Match grade ammo is highly recommended as 55gr gets easily pushed in the wind and hardly moves steel targets. Slings Optional. Please bring tripods with binos/spotting scopes to help spot other shooters. If you have never shot with us before do not sign up for this event. We want to get to know you before we do things in the dark with you. I have added a question to registration to vet the shooters\, you will be able to pay and squad once I approve you. There will also be a squad for shooters using night vision only. \nWe will be having the semi annual night match 2 Gun Saturday the 2nd and someone will be the MD. Setup will start at 1800\, don’t be late. If you plan on rolling in just before dark\, that’s not an option. Everyone needs to help setup and more importantly tear down. If you got something at 6am the next day\, that’s your deal not ours. Shooting will start when it is dark. \nPlan on 4-5 stages\, number of stages will depend on how many people sign up. Round count will typically be around 10-15 per gun per stage\, just plan for some missing. Make sure you have fresh batteries in your lights. If you need to share lights that is ok. Weapons mounted lights are strongly recommended\, but not mandatory. Holsters not required. Plan on having some fun! \nScoped Tactical—Rifle has one magnified optic on it. Can have a muzzle brake\, can use extended mags and drum mags\, can have only one optic on it\, back up irons ok. Pistol can use extended mags up to 140mm\, cannot have muzzle break or optics. Shotgun must start stage with 8+1 rounds\, after start can hold more. No box fed shotguns and no optics or muzzle brakes. \nLimited—all Guns same as Scoped Tactical\, except rifle may only have a 1x red dot or iron sights. \nOpen—Race division. All the guns can have optics\, muzzle brakes\, extended mags\, mag fed shotguns\, rifles can use bipods and or bags. Bags must start attached to the rifle. \n2×4—super open. Adds a 4th gun\, the PCC. Same rules as open\, can use optics\, extended mags\, etc\, etc\, Must use at least 2 guns on every stages\, if there are clays they must be shot with shotgun. \nModern Optics-Designed to land between Open and Scope Tac. Pistol: Holster rules are the same as for Tactical/Limited/HM (i.e. no race holsters). Use whatever pistol you want\, so long as the pistol with your longest magazine inserted fits in the official box with slide parallel to the top of the box. The maximum internal dimensions of this box are 9” x 7” x 2”. Rifle: Use whatever rifle and optics you want. A bipod is allowed\, but not bags or other support devices. Only 30 round magazines may be used. Coupled 30 round mags ok. Shotgun: Only a tube magazine is allowed\, and the magazine tube must be no longer than 24”measured from the front of the receiver. This event will raise funds for injured deputies and sponsoring community events and organizations. We are also wanting some of the proceeds raise to go to the Fire Fighter’s Union in Kootenai County. The theme of this event will be something similar to shotgun golf but\, with rifles and pistols in addition. We’re calling it the Bullet Golf Three Gun Competition. Due to the event being a new format and it is benefiting law enforcement and first responders; I would like to keep the competitors limited to law enforcement\, first responders\, and invitation only. Just for the first year. I would like to put a cap on the number of competitors to a max of 80.
